WDM Video Capture Driver

It is actually modification of reference drivers with most of its defects cured. The hardware is mostly utilized with many of the features put forward by the chipset. It can work under Win98SE, WinXP, WinMe and Win2000 WDM driver without undergoing amendments. Many individual fields can be captured at any frame rate. One can even preview digital video if such a connector is attached to the capture card.

DirectShow API offers standardized and documented API which can be used to program every driver parameters. Due to low power mode when the chip is unused, application of power management of the chip comes into force. Even a sort of white balance can be done on the captured image.

Improved image can be obtained on the monitor by turning on the gamma correction which is supported by the chipset. Since driver is augmented for speed, the CPU supplies are comparatively less than the original driver (VXD). A for preview and capture different color spaces and sizes can be selected. Preview is got using all the frames not captured even if the video or audio is to be captured at full frame sizes at a very low frame rate.  The final settings left in the computer are stored by the driver. Uninstall Information: You can uninstall WDM Video Capture Driver from Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features in Windows 7 and above) located in the Control Panel. Search for WDM Video Capture Driver and right click, then select "Uninstall/Change". Follow the prompts to finish the uninstallation.
